John 6 – We use many metaphors to explain our relationship with Jesus, metaphors that we can usually choose to take or leave. Metaphors such as Shepherd, sheep, teacher and disciple to name a few. But in John 6, we are given perhaps the most challenging metaphor yet, a nonnegotiable. Jesus says, “I am the bread of life”.
