As we look at the final moments of Judas we come to observe that a transactional love is ultimately narcissistic and unable to satiate like a real love that comes from God.
In particular we come to observe that a transactional love has all the trimmings of a real love in that it can meet our needs, make us happy, and put us at the centre of another person’s universe. Yet transactional love is dangerously blind to its own desires and demands, sense of entitlement, and inability to satiate.
