Like Onesimus, we are all run aways and in our running, we have all left destruction to varying degrees in our wake. It is only Christ who offers to pay all our outstanding fines, all our debt and fully restore us to our heavenly family.
It is through the things we give up and the temptations that we resist that we find our voice and gain permission to speak truth and love into the lives of others.
